Breaking : Building Collapse at Odunfa area of Lagos Island

Information reaching me that a three storey building partially collapsed  at 87  Odunfa area of Adeniji Adele by Oando Filling station , Lagos Island.  Good news was that  no life was lost but five people were evacuated injured .



In a chat with a resident of the residence, the collapsed house and different houses in that location had proven signs of feasible fall apart, with the Lagos State urban Development Authority and different applicable government authorities giving them sealed notices. but the owners and the residents ignored the order.

at the time of the collapse, part of the building were been being renovated.

one of the residents said that if the incident had came about all through the night time it could have been  disastrous as close to 70 humans lived there.

“Glory be to God that the incident occurred at some point of the day time while majority of the tenants have long gone for their every day routine and the little ones have gone to school.”
