Police are searching for a lady United Nations agency scarf a $35,000 diamond engagement ring from a person after he brought her back to his ny town sleeping room.

The suspect met the 43-year-old man in the bar at the four-star Standard edifice in Manhattan's West Village.

Surveillance footage shows the combine talking and riant as they head out of the widespread venue towards his space.

But hours later she slunk away - allegedly taking a diamond ring with her.

On Tuesday, New York town police discharged footage of the combine checking in to their space within the early hours of Th March 17.

Officers are appealing to anyone to determine the girl during a bid to seek out her - and therefore the extremely valuable ring.

Authorities did not elaborate on the man's identity or his relationship status.
