Andy Murray in first Paris Masters semi-final
Britain's Andy Murray reached the Paris Masters semi-finals for the first time with a three-set triumph over French10th seed Richard Gasquet.
It had taken Murray six endeavors to achieve the last four of the Paris Masters. Second seed Murray came from a break down in the final set to win 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 6-3 in 2 hours and 38 minutes.
Murray will play American John Isner or Spain's David Ferrer in his semi-Final. He confronts a testing end to the season, with the ATP Finals in London just nine days away, trailed by Britain's first Davis Cup finals since 1978, which gets going in Belgium in just shy of three weeks.
