FIFA World Rankings: Belgium topple Argentina for top spot
Belgium have leapfrogged Argentina and World Cup winners, Germany to take the No. 1 spot in the FIFA World rankings for the first time.

The big picture is that in just over 8 years, Belgium have risen from the 71st team in the World to the 1st team.
The former No. 1 ranked side, Argentina dropped to third, while Copa America champions, Chile rose four places to fifth, their highest ranking.
Belgium have progressed hugely in the past few years as a generation of stars, including Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and. Vincent Kompany,has emerged.
Wales dropped out of the top 10 to 15th, having reached an all-time high of eighth in October, while Roy Hodgson's England side rose one place into ninth.
Per FIFA, Austria now sit higher than they have ever done before after their one-place shift into 10th.
The biggest movers were Chad - up 39 places to 136th - and Sudan, who dropped 44 spots and are now placed 128th.
