EFCC Boss got sacked by President Buhari

Mr Magu, who is an Assistant Commissioner of Police, was one of the deputies of the previous EFCC boss.

Mr Adesina clarified that Mr Lamorde was continuing on terminal leave with quick effect.

Mr Lamorde was before on Monday located at the villa for what is accepted to be his last meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari as the chairman of the commission.

The previous EFCC boss was delegated as acting administrator of the organization in 2011 by the previous President, Goodluck Jonathan, and was affirmed as chairman by the Senate in February 2012.

He assumed control from the then EFCC executive, Farida Waziri, and before that, he served as Director of Operations of the EFCC.
